Alexander Weir

Bio

Alex joined Longview Innovation in 2023 as an associate on the investment team. In this role, Alex is involved in financial analysis, transaction execution, and investor marketing. He also provides corporate finance support for our portfolio companies across sectors.

Alex’s background is in the life sciences, where he most recently worked for Locust Walk, a global investment bank focused on innovative life science companies. Before that, he worked at Boston Pharmaceuticals and L.E.K Consulting as part of Northeastern University’s cooperative education program.

Alex completed semester abroad programs at McGill University in Montreal and the London School of Economics. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a double minor in computer science and music performance from Northeastern University.
